I am a Registered Psychotherapist with over 16 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families across different stages of life. I hold a Master of Science degree in Family Studies with a specialization in Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Kentucky, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Environmental Science with a specialization in Child and Family Services from Oklahoma State University.
I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO #004737) and am a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate through the Canadian Association for Couple and Family Therapy (CACFT #2017500). I have been in private practice since 2021.
Over the years, my work has taken place in a variety of settings, including community clinics serving children and families, rehabilitation clinics supporting individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents and workplace injuries, and private practice. A meaningful part of my professional journey has also involved wilderness and adventure therapy programs, where I worked as both a psychotherapist and field guide. I have additionally supported military families through adventure-based camp experiences designed to foster reconnection following deployment.
I have completed specialized training in adventure therapy and have shared this work through presentations and mentorship. These experiences have shaped a grounded, flexible approach to therapy that values relationship, collaboration, and meeting people where they are. I bring this perspective into my work with care and intention, always guided by respect for each client’s story and lived experience.
